Hurstville Celebrates: 125 years
The Municipality of Hurstville celebrates its 125th anniversary in 2012.
You are invited to view Hurstville Celebrates: 125 Years, an exhibition celebrating this prominent anniversary.
The exhibition explores the early beginnings of local government in Hurstville, the roles of elected officials and paid employees, challenging times and key celebrations in the Council’s history and the contribution Council has made to the local community.
Key items on display include a diorama of an early council chambers, a 1925 model cash register, civic ephemera, and a fence post from the Blue Post Inn.
Venue: Hurstville City Museum & Gallery, 14 MacMahon St, Hurstville

Opening Hours: Tuesday – Saturday 10am – 4pm, Sunday 2pm – 5pm

To celebrate the official anniversary Hurstville City Museum & Gallery will also be running special activities on Sunday 25 March.
Activities include highlights tour, screenings of rare historical footage and free kids craft activities. All Welcome.
