Youth Sponsorship

Hurstville City Council provides sporting, cultural, art and academic sponsorship to support young people participating in various competitions. The activity should be a recognised regional, state, national or international event.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or below and residents of the Hurstville local government area.

The level of sponsorship awarded will depend on the event location:

  • Overseas - $350
  • Interstate - $300
  • Intrastate (including the ACT) - $250
  • Sydney metropolitan area - up to $250 reimbursement for justified expenses.

An applicant may only receive sponsorship once in any financial year.

To apply for sponsorship, send Council a letter of application addressed to ‘Youth Sponsorship’, Hurstville City Council, PO Box 205, Hurstville BC 1481 or email to hccmail@hurstville.nsw.gov.au

The application letter should provide full details of the event and the young person's age. It should be accompanied by a letter of confirmation from the relevant governing body.
