State of the Environment Report Archive

Information on environmental sustainability, human settlement, atmosphere, land, water and biodiversity in Hurstville City is contained in Council's State of the Environment reports. State of the Environment reports provide a public record of the activities of government, industry, and the community in protecting the environment. They also assist Hurstville City Council to monitor changes occurring in the local environment and plan appropriate strategies to address these changes.

Council has consolidated information contained in the reports in the Hurstville Snapshot, which provides an overview of the quality of life in the Hurstville local government area. It consolidates both the environmental reporting and social planning as required under the Local Government Act 1993.
