Retail Your Rubbish

Hurstville City Council has been encouraging the community to ‘retail their rubbish’ at a series of suburb-wide garage sales in Hurstville City.

Council’s Retail Your Rubbish initiative allows people to reduce the waste they send to landfill and provides a fun day out for the community.

At Retail your Rubbish garage sales, shoppers have the opportunity to fossick through a range of useful items and treasures which would otherwise become landfill.

Council has held Retail Your Rubbish events in Mortdale and Peakhurst Heights to date.
