Myles Dunphy Reserve and Wetland Plan of Management
Under the Local Government Act (1993), Hurstville City Council is required to prepare Plans of Management (PoM) for community land within the Hurstville local government area (LGA). In general terms, community land is land that is owned or managed by Council and is available to the community for cultural and recreational activities.
The natural areas within Myles Dunphy Reserve are one of the most highly valued environmental assets within the Hurstville LGA. In order to better protect these areas and other natural values found within the Reserve, Council has resolved to prepare a specific PoM for the site.
The Myles Dunphy Reserve and Wetland Plan of Management was adopted by council at the meeting on 20 March 2013.
