Council Meetings
Hurstville City Council meetings are open to the public and held on a monthly cycle, usually on Wednesday nights. Meetings are held in the Civic Centre, generally commence at 7.00 pm, and follow formal meeting procedures. Parts of meetings may be closed to the public due to the confidential nature of business discussed.
Workshops are also held as informal opportunities for Councillors to discuss matters with each other, Council staff and external parties such as consultants. These meetings are closed to the public.
In addition, a number of Standing Committees and Community and Advisory Committees meet regularly to discuss issues of importance to Hurstville City.
Other Council meetings may be held at different times due to special circumstances. Meeting times are published on this website and in the St George and Sutherland Shire Leader.
Monthly meeting cycle
Please note that meetings occasionally fall outside the normal cycle. Please check Council's website for schedule changes.
