Major Events

Hurstville City hosts a number of major events throughout the year that benefit the community and the local economy.

Council’s Major Events Committee of Councillors meets regularly to identify and plan events that will achieve these outcomes.

A diverse range of annual and one-off events are held for the community in the cultural, sporting, lifestyle, entertainment and business arenas.

They reflect Hurstville City’s identity as the vibrant, culturally diverse ‘Heart of St George’ and attract visitors from all across Sydney and beyond.
