Research Resources
The Local Studies Collection contains material detailing aspects of the community of the Hurstville City area, including books, photographs, maps, information files and pioneers indexes to birth, deaths and marriages on CD-ROM.
The Archives Collection contains the corporate memory of Hurstville City Council. The Council was incorporated in 1887 and records originating from that time are kept at Hurstville City Library. More than 100 archival series of records have been identified including Minutes of Council and Rates; Valuation Lists books which date from 1895.
Both series are available for public access.
