Garage Sale Trail
 When:  24 October 2015
 Where:  Australia Wide
 Cost:  FREE
Council is encouraging the community to join Australia’s biggest garage sale - the Garage Sale Trail – on Saturday 24th October 2015.

Garage Sale Trail is a national, people powered program that’s all about sustainability, creativity and fun. Turn your unwanted goods into another person’s treasure by hosting your own garage sale or snag yourself a bargain by browsing the sales registered in your area.

Want to host a garage sale?

Anyone can get involved, whether you are a household, local school, community group, library, or business.

Registration is FREE. To register your sale simple go to garagesaletrail.com.au and click on “Register A Sale”. This will give you the ability to register your garage sale.

You can list items for sale, upload photos of your items, download the ‘Garage Sale Trail’ phone app, and share other information about your sale eg bake sale, bbq etc. You will also be able to download posters to promote your sale.

Once your sale is registered it will appear on the Garage Sale Trail website and you can invite neighbours, friends, family and colleagues to attend via social media.

Want to buy a bargain?

The Garage Sale Trail website allows bargain hunters to plan a day of shopping by creating a Treasure Trail. Type in your postcode at garagesaletrail.com.au to explore the garage sales registered in your local area.

You can add your favourite sales and items to your personalised Treasure Trail which can be printed out on a map or download to your smart phone via the Garage Sale Trail app.
