There are more than 600 food retailing businesses in Hurstville City, including food wholesalers, restaurants and cafes, hotels and licensed clubs, supermarkets, service stations and convenience stores, as well as schools, childcare centres, hospitals and aged care facilities.

These businesses are vital to the local economy, providing opportunities for employment and utilising many goods and services from the local government area. They also contribute to the vibrancy, lifestyle and amenity of our city.
