Fees and Charges
Some of the services Hurstville City Council provides for the community incur costs. Council ensures that all 2009/2010 fees are raised equitably. A detailed statement, with respect to each type of fee and the amounts proposed, are contained in Council's Schedule of Fees and Charges, which is part of the annual Management Plan.
Council has considered the various pricing policies that could be adopted and identified the following three concepts:
- subsidised costs
- marginal cost
- user pays

To assist the applicant to estimate the fees payable for a residential DA. All charges are subject to change and Council gives no guarantee that fees or valuations are accurate. Fees will be verified at time of lodgement and may be subject to change without notice.
