EnviroWorks

The St George region councils (Hurstville, Kogarah and Rockdale) host regular free five-week courses to support the community in becoming more environmentally sustainable.

The fun, interactive EnviroWorks courses empower residents to make small lifestyle changes which can positively impact the environment. They cover:

  • recycling
  • waste management
  • composting
  • worm farming
  • green cleaning
  • detoxing your home
  • sustainable living
  • reducing your ecological footprint.

EnviroWorks courses run for two hours each week over five weeks. Each participant who completes the full course receives a free compost bin or worm farm (worms not included).

Residents in the Hurstville, Kogarah and Rockdale local government areas are eligible to attend.
