Development Application Checklists

The information that Hurstville City Council requires in a development application (DA) varies according to the proposed building work.

It will include specific information on the scale and complexity of the development, and its likely environmental impact. If you plan to develop a new deck, for instance, the information required is vastly different to what is needed to build a new petrol service station.

Council's checklists will assist you in providing accurate, detailed information in your DA, to ensure it is processed as quickly and smoothly as possible.

To find the checklist which relates to your proposed development, simply choose the most relevant category, and the most appropriate checklist in that section.

For example, if you are planning a development around your house, the most relevant category is ‘Residential’. If you plan to extend your house, 'Checklist No. 35 - Dwelling House - Alterations & Additions' will be the most appropriate choice in this category.
