Overall, 1,650 survey responses were received, analysed and strategies, actions and indicators were developed. These were considered by a representative community group at a Deliberative Forum on 5 February 2011.

The draft Hurstville CSP 2021 will be considered by Council on 23 March 2011 and once approved will be placed on public exhibition from 29 March 2011 for a month. Your feedback on the Plan will be welcomed.

To launch your Community Strategic Plan, Hurstville Council has partnered with C3West to develop The Begin-Again project. This project is a joint project by C3West, Hurstville City Council and Australian artist Angelica Mesiti.

Over two nights (1-2 April 2011), from sunset to midnight, Mesiti brings the streets of Hurstville CBD to life with four site specific video installations and a live performance that invoke the architecture of Hurstville as a backdrop to the stories of the area.
