Hurstville City Council offers competitively priced commercial waste and recycling services to businesses operating in the Hurstville local government area. There are several different services to choose from, catering to the diverse needs of businesses.
Council provides free advice to help you manage waste and recycling disposal. For information on the commercial waste services provided by Council please read the Commercial Waste and Recycling brochure or call Council's Waste Projects Officer on 9330 6222.
All applications for a commercial waste service must be made in writing on the Commercial Waste and Recycling Services Application form. The application form maybe completed by the owner of th property or the tenant/commercial operator.
Hurstville City Council is conducting an audit of commercial waste services. As of November 2012 commercial waste bins must have an orange lid and a sticker attached to the front of the bin. All commercial recycling services must have a yellow lid and a sticker attached to the front of the bin.These stickers allow the waste contractor to clearly identify the bin as a paid commercial waste service.
