Class 4 Weed Control Plans

Hurstville City Council is required to provide plans for managing noxious plants that are listed as Class 4 weeds, under the Noxious Weeds Act 1993. Class 4 weeds are those that are generally widespread across NSW.

These plans speficy measures for controlling the growth and spread of Class 4 weeds, along with the Lantana pink flower the legal and known methods for controlling these weeds.

There are 13 Class 4 weeds declared in Hurstville City, with 11 Class 4 Weed control plans guiding their management (please note that different species of Privet and Prickly Pear are covered in the same plans):
