Christmas Card Competition
Hurstville City Council invited local children to enter the 2011 Christmas Card Competition. The competition was open to all children attending primary schools in the Hurstville local government area.
The winning design was used on Council’s Christmas card and was posted to hundreds of homes and businesses. In addition, the winner and runner-up each received a $50 voucher, with an additional $100 voucher presented to the winner’s school.
The winner of the Year 3 to Year 6 section was Jacob Botic of St Declans Catholic School at Penshurst. And Tania Chang from Danebank Anglican School for Girls was the winner of the Kindergarten to Year 2.
All entries were displayed at the Hurstville City Library in the lead-up to Christmas.
