Chemical Clean Out program
Hurstville City Council will be hosting the next Household Chemical CleanOut Collection in May 2014.

||Open to all members of the public.
Other Collection Dates: open to all members of the public
Canterbury Council, Administration Building Carpark, Shakespeare St, Campsie. Sunday 9th February 2014
Sutherland Council, Bellingara Netball Centre Carpark, Bellingara Rd, Miranda. Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th February 2014
Materials accepted include:
- Pesticides and herbicides
- Solvents and chemical cleaners
- Motor oils, fuels and fluids
- Car batteries
- Gas bottles
- Fire extinguishers
- Pool chemicals
- Acids and alkalis
- Hobby chemicals
- Florescent tubes.
Only household quantities of up to 20 kilograms or 20 litres of chemicals will be accepted.
Council collected over 85 tonnes of material in our 2013 collection events.
