Hurstville City Council works closely with neighbouring councils and a range of business organisations to provide educational, networking and marketing opportunities for local businesses.

About BEC Southern Sydney

BEC Southern Sydney is a proud provider of the NSW Small Biz Connect program. Small Biz Connect is a program that accelerates small businesses to economic sustainability, delivering growth and employment for NSW. It is a government-funded program that links experienced business advisors with small businesses who want a personalised focus, local know-how and mentoring support.

BEC Southern Sydney provides business support services and advice for all businesses with less than 20 employees in Hurstville, Kogarah, Rockdale, Sutherland Shire, Bankstown and Canterbury local government areas. As a hub for comprehensive and affordable business information, they offer services and expertise to suit every business.

Services include:
  • Practical and confidential business guidance, advice and support;
  • Training for start up and established small businesses;
  • Business Acceleration Forums™ for groups of business people;
  • Business Acceleration Coaching™ for individuals;
  • Referrals to its business members;
  • Business networking opportunities.
