Aboriginal Cultural Protocols

Council is working on developing a set of protocols in consultation with Council's Aboriginal Advisory Committee.

The Cultural Protocols include advice on appropriate ways to consult Aboriginal communities, outline the role of community elders, explain the importance of recognising Aboriginal people as the traditional owners of the land and outline some important Aboriginal ceremonies.
